Build in 1998, the HD1 has a top speed of 50 knots empty and 46 knots fully laden with 167 tons of cargo. This vessel can carry away 400 passengers and 89 vehicles. She is propelled by 4 Kamewa waterjets.
She has provided from March, 2007 to September, 2008 two shifts daily Saint-Malo - Jersey - Guernsey in Spring and Summer.
Late 2009, she becomes Moon Flower under Korean flag.
History
HD Ferries bought
HD1 in 2007 in order to open a new route with the Channel islands. This service became the monopoly of Condor Ferries in 2005 .
The
HD1 received in England a new loading ramp for vehiclesin february 2007.
The
HD1 is on sale since September,2008.
